A determined entrepreneur who established his first Genentech company in 2013, driving innovation within the realm of sustainable agriculture. He led the company in the development and commercialization of cutting-edge agricultural technologies, including vertical farming systems and integrated organic hydroponics along with aquaculture solutions. Before embarking on this green enterprise, he honed his entrepreneurial skills by managing a concrete construction business and launching a café that featured a specialty coffee roasting operation.

Daniel has been recognized for an innate ability to assimilate pragmatic and esoteric knowledge effectively. These distinctive competencies have been instrumental in crafting innovative products and services. His trailblazing efforts have substantially shaped Pure Life Carbon's core intellectual property.

As an innovative figure in the field of carbon technology, Daniel was critical to his role as Chief Technology Officer at Pure Life Carbon Inc. His contributions were vital from the company's earliest days, playing a central part in the development of a pioneering carbon-based soilless growing medium.

Paul Horton is a distinguished co-founder of Certarus Ltd, a frontrunner in offering a fully integrated compressed natural gas (CNG) solution for North American commercial and industrial markets. With a diverse background spanning project management, engineering, and business development, Paul has amassed significant experience in the oil and gas, alternative energy, and automotive sectors. His extensive industry knowledge coupled with robust leadership capabilities has proven beneficial in both multinational corporations and start-up environments.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Paul has held esteemed board positions with organizations such as Snowboard Canada and Motionball. He holds a B.A.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the distinguished University of Waterloo.
